What you will do as a volunteer
As a Gyerünk volunteer, you can be involved in a variety of activities depending on your skills and interests. You might support creative workshops, training courses, farming projects or awareness-raising initiatives. You will work alongside our team and receive the guidance you need to work safely and effectively.
Activities take place in a collaborative setting where every contribution is valued. Whether you choose to commit for a few weeks or for a longer period, your time will make a difference to the local community.
Who can take part
Gyerünk volunteering is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. No specific skills are required, just motivation, initiative and a desire to work together. Knowledge of foreign languages or particular abilities (music, sport, visual arts, farming) will be an added value.
We believe everyone can make a unique contribution: whether you are a student, a professional or retired, together we will find the role that suits you best.

Gyerünk was born from the conviction that every person has a unique potential to develop. Our initiatives combine collaboration, respect for the environment and social inclusion, creating settings in which volunteers can grow and contribute meaningfully. Every project is planned together with the local community, to meet concrete needs and guarantee lasting results.
A typical day as a volunteer
A typical day as a Gyerünk volunteer begins with a short team meeting to plan the activities. The morning may be devoted to creative workshops or practical work on the farm. After a shared lunch break, the afternoon continues with training sessions or community support activities. The day ends with a moment of sharing, in which volunteers and coordinators discuss the results and plan the next steps.
